  • Planning to organize, manage and stage an annual run based in a slum on 21-09-09. The run shall be known as COMPASSION RUN, because it is pro-poor and it shall raise funds to help orphans, needy children, Hiv/aids infected or affected children and poverty stricken slum families.
  • Feeding Programme:

Children being served at meal time (Lunch) by our Director, Susan Njeri.

Due to the abject poverty in most of the homes where Wisdom Nest pupils come from, the school has initiated a lunch feeding programme where every child is entitled to one small meal at a low cost.

STATEMENT OF NEED

WNCEP currently has the following needs:
1. New Syllabus Textbooks: The school has only old syllabus textbooks. This has some negative consequences to the quality of education and the performance of the pupils.

2. Desks: The number of pupils has risen drastically in the recent past, thus giving rise to the need for more desks. The current ones are old and roughly made.

3. Standard Classrooms:

Although the school management has kept on upgrading the classrooms, the need has always been higher. For now, more modern and standardized classrooms are required to enhance the learning environment in terms of space and teaching aids.
